During the first days of the classes, we taught
about storytelling. I think that it’s an important topic in our area because we
should to learn how to tell a story.
Normally, we are telling stories when we tell a
joke, when you want to convince your parents or when you tell what you did the
last week. As a conclusion, storytelling consists on to transmit with gestures
and movement a story.
One example of the
importance of gestures and movements are in the next video where we observe
that it’s easier to understand the story. In the video, we can observe how a
child tries to tell a story.
As a result, I have seen that the child uses a
support like flash cards or a book in Din A3.These methods are essential
because the other children are supported in the materials to understand the
story.
Children should to live the story and this is
simple. As teachers, we should to help students to understand the story and we
provide some techniques as scaffolding for children.
-
Visual resources
as vignettes and pictures
-
Body language
to express the feelings in the story.
-
To realize a
glossary with different key words
-
Divide the
story in parts.
These elements will be
useful for tell the story because it’s a way to combine the story with the resources.
In my opinion. I think
that this topic it is essential for a teacher because we can obtain a progress
in the reading´s children in a future.
