IF YOU READ, THEY READ

Hi everybody! Last week, we did our Reading map in class where Raquel explained what a reading map was.

For me, reading map is like an schema with our books and phases of reading during our life. When we finish our reading maps, we did a museum in class to expose our artworks.

The museum was something different because all the class could to see the reading maps and I think that it was like an inspiration to improve in other works.

In my opinion, this activity was something special because we have could to remember our infant and the books that we have read. By other hand, I´d like to explain my own reading map.

Since I was a child, I used to hear the stories that my parents told me before to fall sleep. When I was six years, my teacher taught me to read and I tried to read school books like “The five “or “Aladelta Books”.

Really, during the school I didn’t have interest about reading so when I came to the high school, I tried to have my own interest and I became to read books about intrigue and psychological aspects as Paulo Coelho or Agatha Christy.

As you can see, my interest tried in the high school thanks to a teacher that he showed me what types of books could interest me. Actually, for me, reading is a distraction or a way to scape.

In my opinion, I have learnt thanks to this project, the importance of the reading. Children should understand that reading can be fun and we should to promote these aspects for our pupils.

I think that the aim of Raquel was that we understand the importance of reading in this stage.
